The Graceful Quills Story
Established in 2021, Graceful Quills was born when Grace discovered her Dad's old typewriter in the corner of the room. It has been there since forever, and it was such a pity that it was underutilised! A spark ignited in her and she decided to bring the typewriter to an art event, where she sat for 5 consecutive days writing customised typewritten poems to strangers, listening to their stories and seeing their warm reactions.
The willingness of strangers to be vulnerable and open in interactions touched Grace deeply. Her poems ‘spoke deeply to their hearts’ and cried when they read what she had wrote for them.
Since then, Graceful Quills has expanded to provide live poetry services, customised poetry and gifts, writing workshops and more. We have written for homes, babies, dogs, newlyweds, lovers, daughters and single mothers. Each poem is crafted intentionally and sensitively, honouring the story of the unique individual. Whether it’s a joyous occasion or a time of grieving, we want to be here for you.
